As Lincoln Center is one of New York’s most recognizable landmarks, it is not surprisingly a desirable location for public events! One recent morning in April, Lincoln Center served as the starting point for the annual March of Dimes March for Babies. Over 6,000 attendees gathered on 65th Street between Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall in the spirit of raising funds to help prevent premature births and infant mortality.
The March for Babies has been held annually since 1970 and has raised a combined total of more than $2.3 billion to help all babies get a healthy start in life.
